About

Hi I’m Becca, it’s good to have you here. I’m a pragmatic creative with an affinity for all things unconventional.

As a UX researcher, I believe it is my responsibility to advocate for users who don’t otherwise get representation. In order to fully understand the users I stand for, I always strive to empathize with people over their experiences and pain points.

Most of my continuing education has been in cognitive psychology, developmental psychology, and Latin American anthropology. I have found that the way a population has been taught to think and process information informs the way people expect a product to behave. As a neurodivergent person, I have the keen sense of pattern recognition in qualitative aspects of user behavior that AI can’t compete with (yet).

I search for roles in UX Research where I can a part of a cross-functional team that’s ready to collaborate, approach big problems with optimism, learn from failure, and respect each others strengths. Teams with diverse backgrounds and perspectives are where it’s at! If this sounds like your team, let’s start a conversation.

Outside of my professional roles I function as a team lead for an organization that seeks to improve women and gender minorities’ access to outdoor adventure sports. We host the Women’s Trans Femme Highline meeting as an inclusive space for gender minorities to thrive in the outdoors.

Let’s nerd out
